Please purchase tickets here. \nFrancesca is a writer and arts journalist based in London. She writes for ‘The Telegraph’\, ‘The Times’\, ‘The TLS’\, ‘The Spectator’\, ‘The FT’ and ‘Prospect’. ‘Pure Wit’ is her first book and is published by Head of Zeus. Seizing the opportunity for an unexpected comeback\, disgraced former Paris mayor Vincent d’Amont makes an outrageous proposal: France and Germany should unite to create a new superpower: Charlemagny.  \nThe question will be put to the people in an historic vote on ROME\, the ubiquitous social network of Europe. But\, outraged by the progress of events and fearing a new order based on chaos and conflict\, political vlogger Miss Cliché engages in a fierce battle against Vincent and his cronies.  \nCan Miss Cliché discover who is running the all-powerful ROME and reveal the real forces behind Charlemagny? And can she keep her own feelings under control before Charlemagny becomes a reality?  \nThe event will begin at 6:30pm\, but guests are welcome to arrive from 6:00pm. Guests can purchase refreshments at the Dartmouth House bar. The event will end at 8:30pm and there will be copies of ‘The Eagle and the Cockerel’ available for sale. We do hope you can join us.  URL:https://www.esu.org/event/alan-rhode-in-conversation-with-leena-norms/ LOCATION:Dartmouth House\, 37 Charles Street\, London\, England\, W1J 5ED\, United Kingdom CATEGORIES:ESU Social ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.esu.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Event-image-template-for-websiite-1.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
