Lincolnshire branch sculpture exhibition at Doddington Hall

The Lincolnshire branch held the annual sculpture exhibition at Doddington Hall, raising money for Debate Academy.

The anatomy of murder talk at Chichester branch

Chichester chairman Anthony Davies, as a QC, gave an interesting talk on the anatomy of murder. The talk raised money for the ESU.

Hastings 1066 met at Freezeland Farm for their Annual General Meeting in June where there was a talk about saving the Rhinos.

The Junior debate academy meeting saw eight Bedfordshire schools debate on four topics spanning censorship, social networking, blood sports and women MPs.

Exeter lunch with James Levelle

The guest speaker at the Exeter branch April Meeting was James Levelle, adventurer and filmmaker. His talk was entitled “Free Ride to South America".  The Times said of James that “He’s nice but mad”.

The Junior Public Speaking  lunch meeting show cased the talents of year 4/5 Bedfordshire students.

Exeter branch talk on migration by Jonathan Lee Draper

The Exeter and District branch  hosted Dr Jonathan Draper who was Dean of Exeter Cathedral from 2011 to 2017. He is now the part-time General Secretary of Modern Church, a liberal Christian charity.
